Voorzieningen zijn prima: elke slaapkamer met eigen badkamer, een goed uitgeruste keuken en living, terras met zicht op exotische tuin ! Alle kosten zijn inbegrepen in de huur van 75 euro/nacht. Men moet zelf ontbijt maken, of men kan hiervoor naar "O'Gradys 12 Bar" op het landgoed "Quinta da Figueirinha", uitgebaat door een Ier en zijn Tasmaanse vriendin. Men kan hier ’s avonds ook eten als men vooraf reserveert (keuze uit 2 menu’s).
Bij aankomst geeft dr Zabel uitleg over zijn domein; we krijgen een paar plannetjes, ook tips voor restaurants en uitstappen. Verder laat hij zijn gasten ongemoeid.

“Quinta da Figueirinha is located 5km from the town of Silves. Coming from Lagoa (or the A22 highway) in direction to Silves pass through the tunnel , continue ahead passing the two bridges leaving Silves to your left. 150 meters after the second bridge turn to your left in direction to Fragura , here you will already see a blue road sign with Quinta da Figueirinha. During the following 2km you will see two signs , at the first continue left on the main road and at the second turn right. Another 500 meters ahead you will find another larger blue sign, turn right here onto the untarred road.
